Amico Home transforms any TV streaming device, tablet, or smartphone into a local multiplayer gaming console, creating an engaging “couch play” environment. The accompanying Amico Controller app allows users to turn their smartphones or tablets into game controllers, seamlessly connecting to Amico Home via the home Wi-Fi network.

The design philosophy behind Amico games centers around fostering a family-friendly multiplayer experience. All games are structured to ensure enjoyment for players of all ages, with no in-app purchases and no online interactions with strangers, prioritizing the essence of quality family entertainment.

Requirements:

• The complimentary Amico Home app to locate and play Amico games.
• The free Amico Controller app for transforming smart devices into game controllers.
• A shared Wi-Fi network for all participating devices.

Setup Steps:

1. Install the Amico Home app on one device to serve as the “console.”
2. Install one or more Amico game apps on the same device as the Amico Home app.
3. Download the Amico Controller app on one or more distinct devices to function as wireless game controllers, with the capacity to connect up to eight controllers to Amico Home.

For an enhanced experience, it is advisable to set up Amico Home on a TV streaming device or a smart device that connects via HDMI cable to your television. A tablet can also serve as an effective host, providing a larger screen for group play.

How to Start Play:

1. Open the Amico Home app or any installed Amico game app on the console device.
2. Players should launch the Amico Controller app on their devices, which will connect automatically to the console over the shared Wi-Fi network.

Players experience fluid transitions between Amico Home and various games. From Amico Home, games that have been installed can be launched easily. When exiting a game, control returns to Amico Home, where users can select another game or explore the “SHOP” for further acquisitions.

Buying Amico Games:

Amico Home games are available on the publisher page within the device’s app store. Each game is labeled with an ‘A’ from the Amico logo on its app icon—consistent with those of the Amico Home and Controller apps.

The “SHOP” area within the Amico Home app displays all available games. Selecting “BUY” for a game transitions users to its product page in the app store, where manual completion of the purchase process is required on the console device. Post-purchase, players can return to the Amico Home app to continue gameplay while installation of the new game occurs. Once installed, the new title will be visible in the “MY GAMES” section of Amico Home.

How to End Play:

• Remotely: Access the Amico Controller menu by pressing the dedicated menu button. Select “Console,” then “Close Amico Home,” confirming with “Yes.”
• Directly: On the device running Amico Home, follow standard procedures for closing applications to terminate any active games or apps.
